15 Months

I don't know what made Zuri get up early today, but she did.  She was up about 5:45am.  She did not want to let Daddy get ready.  Mommy was, once again, chopped liver!

Daddy....

Daddy!...

DADDY!!!!!!!!!!!

Where did Daddy go???
Zuri's 15 month check-up was today.  She is 90th percentile for weight and height and 99th percentile for head circumference.  The doctor asked what words she was saying.  We started rattling off what she says (see below) and the doctor said we did not need to worry one bit out her development.  She expects 1 or 2 words at 15 months.  At 18 months, she expects about 20.  Zuri's already saying around 30 words!  The doctor also said we could start working on potty training since Zuri seems interested in it.  :)  Oh, and she did great with the vaccine.  She didn't even flinch!!
Hi Dr. McIntire
After her doctor visit, we went to dinner at Jockamo.

Someone was thirsty.
After dinner, we went to Toys R Us and then came home and played in the sprinkler!
That was fun!!

Again, again!

I love it!

More

Okay, let's look at the roses.

Zuri turned 15 months on June 7th.  She continues to amaze us on a daily basis.  She says so many words and does so many things --- it's unbelievable.  She loves the Phineas and Ferb theme song.  When it comes on, she starts dancing.  At the end of the theme song, the sister yells, "Mom, Phineas and Ferb are making a title sequence!"  The other day, we had the show on and just before the sister yelled that, Zuri yelled, "Mom!"  It was the cutest thing ever!

Zuri is climbing on everything.  She actually does really well with getting down off the couch, off the chairs, and off our bed.  Zuri likes to try and figure things out.  Once we take her out of her high chair, she walks right up to it and starts trying to put the straps together.  Lord help us!

Oh, her favorite thing to do right now is to wave her index finger and say "No, no, no!"  Daddy taught her that.  Thanks Daddy!

I could go on and on and on about all the things Zuri does, but I'll just end with the words she says right now!  :)

Dear Zuri Lane,

I don't know what else I can say that I haven't already.  So, I'll just say - We love you and we can't wait to see what new and exciting things you will accomplish over the next few months.

Love,
Mommy and Daddy
