Happy Halloween!!

Zuri spent the night with Aunt Julie last night. When she came home, we tried on some costumes and then changed into her Halloween outfit.

I asked Zuri to show me her diva pose and this is what I got.  We are in trouble.

Zuri received these fangs at her school party yesterday. She loves wearing them!

We went to Uncle Jon's and Aunt Amanda's to trick or treat. Here are the kiddos with Jon. I think Jon had just as much fun tonight as the kids. :o)

We really lucked out with the weather. It was supposed to be really cold and rainy. We were able to walk around for an hour without rain. It started sprinkling just a few minutes before we were back at the house.

Wordless Wednesday

Weekend Fun!

Zuri had fun Friday night hanging out with out neighbors. Here she is with Carol. :o) Carol gave Zuri the job of "babysitting" Brandon while she is gone. They had a debate about that for at least 30 minutes!

Saturday was a busy day. Zuri and I had our haircuts. I was long overdue for one!

After our haircuts, we went to Monkey Joe's for a birthday party for one of Zuri's friends from school. While we were there, we ran into our other neighbors.

After Monkey Joe's, we had dinner with Grandma and Grandpa Schulz. Zuri is crazy!  lol

After dinner, we stopped at Long's Donuts to get pumpkin donuts for Dixie. We bought donuts for this morning as well, but Zuri wanted a cake pop from Starbucks and a hot chocolate. Papaw came through for us!  Someone isn't spoiled....

After some shopping, Zuri and I went to lunch with Junie, Andy, Bri, and Zayne. Bri came home with us so the girls could play. Crazy girls!

After Bri left, Zuri helped me put up our new Halloween decorations in the yard. :o)

I'd say Zuri had a good weekend!

Wordless Wednesday

Catch Up....

Saturday was Zuri's last soccer game and award ceremony. To celebrate, we went to Starbucks for hot chocolate and breakfast. Zuri opted for a cake pop. :o)

When we got to the fields, we were told the game was cancelled due to the extreme cold so we went straight to the awards ceremony. Zuri was excited to get a medal!

Now the infamous soccer picture. I mentioned before that I knew it would turn out to be a mug shot because she wouldn't smile at all!  I still think it's a cute picture!

Sunday, we had Zayne for a little bit in the afternoon. Here's a pic of me with Zuri before we went to lunch and picked up Zayne.

Fun Filled Weekend!

I brought cake home Friday after work and Zuri decided it was her birthday and she needed candles!

Zuri had a soccer game Saturday morning. She loves throwing the ball in (she turned around before throwing it!). 

After the game, we met up with Julie, Junie, Bri, Kyle, Amber, and Emerson to go to AppleWorks. 

It was busier than I've ever seen it, but we found parking and were determined to have fun!

Zuri picked this pumpkin for her baby brother. She ended up with 4 pumpkins - 2 for her, 1 for her baby brother, and 1 for Justice.

After we got home, Zuri painted two pumpkins. The one on the left is her baby brother's and she painted it green because that will be his favorite color. :o)

This morning, we went to breakfast with Papaw John.

After asking all day for Justice to come by, she finally made it!  Zuri painted the pumpkin for her.
