Zoo

We went to the zoo yesterday for Brent's company picnic. Zuri loved all the animals!  The dolphin show may have been her favorite. :)

After the zoo, we napped and then went to Ralph's and Lane's for birthday dinners. Zuri loved the ice cream!  

Today, Zuri woke up sick. :( She didn't eat much today and had a hard time going to sleep tonight. Regardless, she made me laugh several times today!

Birthday and Baby Celebrations!

If you follow this blog, then you know Zuri had her first sleepover last night.  This morning, we had Mickey and/or Minnie Mouse pancakes for breakfast, we watched TV, we played, and most importantly, we painted our nails!  Here are some pictures:

After Lila and Alana left, we met up with Grandpa and Grandma Schulz and Jay, Kari, Jaykob, Jinger, Lilly, and Sunny for Grandpa Schulz' birthday lunch at Jockamo.  Yummy!!!

After I attended a baby shower for Rachael's sister in law, Zuri and I went to the hospital to visit the yet-to-be-named Baby Girl Henson #3 (who was born on Grandpa Schulz' birthday!).  We found out once we got there that the baby has a name!  Shayne Victoria Henson.  She's absolutely perfect and Zuri loves her already.  Yes, Zuri gave me that sweet and innocent look of hers and said, "I want a baby sister."  Okay, for maybe a millisecond, I considered it.  No baby in the foreseeable future for us....sorry, Z!

I am totally aware of how stinkin' cute this picture is, but no baby for us!!!

Fun With Family

Zuri spent quite a bit of time with family this weekend. Saturday, she went to my cousin's son's football game with Her Aunt Js (Junie and Julie). 

While she was "watching" the game, Daddy and I made her room into a big girl room!!

Tony, Anthony, Breeanna, and Paige also came by.

Today, Daddy and Mommy went to Scotty's to watch the Colts/Dolphins game. Zuri hung out with Papaw John. Of course, she had a blast!

Fun At Mommy's Work

My employer had a campus inauguration today. This included lunch and ribbon cutting as well as a family night!  The CEO of the Endress+Hauser Group came from Switzerland (others came too).  :)

Family night included dinner, games, live music, ice cream bar, and more!  Have I said how much I love my job and my employer?!  Zuri loved the band the best. She danced the night away. The band even let her play the tambourine! Zuri didn't go to bed until 9!  Hey, it was a special occasion!

Zuri is two and a half today!  We had a pretty lazy morning in our PJs. Daddy went to meet an old friend and Zuri and I met Papaw for lunch. We were supposed to go to a football game, but Zuri didn't want to get dressed in time!

Shawn and Paul also came over (no pics - phone was charging!!). Zuri went to bed about 9:30ish....way past her bedtime!  We had a great day!
