Party Weekend

Friday night, we stopped by Eric's and Karen's after dinner to say happy birthday to Eric. Zuri wanted to spend the night so we let her. :o)

Saturday, we had swim lesson and then we went shopping for soccer gear for Zuri. Later in the day, we went to Sunny's birthday party. Zuri also wanted to spend the night there so....  :o)

After we picked Zuri up today, we went to a surprise birthday party for a friend of mine. Zuri wanted to hold the baby there.  She was so cute with her!

Zuri and I took a nap after the party. A much needed nap!!  After nap, it was dinner and bath time.  Zuri was being extra silly during bath tonight. 

Zuri's had a fun filled weekend. Now it's time to get ready for school tomorrow!!

This and That...

Zuri was making lots of silly faces before her swim lesson Saturday. Here's a non-silly one. I love it!

We met Jenn and Brendan for lunch at The End of the Line Public House in Fountain Square.  Zuri enjoyed the biscuits and gravy!  When we left, I wanted a picture of Zuri with them. This was the best I could do.  Zuri and Brendan were picking on each other. lol

After lunch, I started feeling really bad and ended up in bed until dinner with Grandpa and Grandma Schulz.  I still wasn't feeling good so I didn't eat much and it was a quick dinner. 

Today, we picked up a crib for the baby and then went to Big Woods Pizza in Nashville. Zuri loves that place because they give her dough to play with.

For dinner, we went to Eric's and Karen's for a cookout to say bye to Trevor. He leaves for college on Tuesday. Zuri loves Trev. We'll have to visit him ever so often!

On the way home, Zuri tried a brownie Oreo. Can you tell?!  Haha!

Family Weekend

We started the weekend off with our neighborhood picnic at German Park. Zuri enjoyed the pony rides. :)

Saturday, we went to lunch with Tony, Bree, Julie, and Jason. We went swimming afterwards and Allie, Scotty, and Ayla joined us.

Scotty and Ayla spent the night with us. We went to Cheesecake Factory for dinner. 

The kids had fun playing and didn't go to bed until around 10pm. Zuri was up at 6am but I got her to lay back down until 7. Scotty and Ayla definitely aren't used to getting up that early. They did it though because we were meeting Papaw at Yia-Yia's for breakfast.

This afternoon, we had Jack's birthday party. The girls had fun playing (when they were being nice to each other!). I wanted a picture of Jack, Claire, and Zuri. Those silly kids!

They finally gave in and let me take a good picture. :)

 

It's bedtime now - Zuri has to get ready for school tomorrow. This will be her first week of having homework!!
