First Ocean Videos

Zuri absolutely LOVED the beach and ocean. The tide was too strong so we didn't swim. The first video shows the tide pushing Zuri down. She was fine and I forgot I was recording. Watch to the end!!  Another time (not on video), the tide actually knocked her down and she rolled over!  There's still sand in her hair after two baths!  :) We are heading to Disney today. :)

Sunday Funday!!

Zuri's cousin, Ayla, spent the night last night.  This morning, we had donuts and played.  Then we went to see baby Zayne.  The girls enjoyed getting to hold him!  He's precious.  After our visit with Zayne, we went to lunch with Julie and LB and then to the park.  Very busy day!!!

Zuri was super excited to get to hold him for the first time.  When we first visited, he was only a couple days old so we didn't let Zuri hold him.

Zuri thought this was a roller coast, I think.  HA!  She went down with her hands in the air.  Thrill seeker!!!

Shay's 1st Birthday Party!!

After our trip to The Children's Museum, we went to Shay's 1st Birthday party.  It was a great time!  Zuri enjoyed jumping on the trampoline, swinging, and especially the hay rides!!

Shay's Memaw painted this!  How awesome is it?!  Zuri said, "Mommy, I'm a corn on the cob.  Do you want to eat me?"  HA!

The hayride was a hit for sure!



The kids each got to pick a pumpkin to take home.  The Three Musketeers decided to be silly!!

New Friends and The Children's Museum

On Saturday, we had lunch and went to the Children's Museum with Daddy's friend, Ben, and his family.  We had a lot of fun hanging out with Ben, Beth (his wife), and Zoe (their daughter).  Zoe is only a year older than Zuri so they had a lot of fun!  We cooked out here at home, played for a bit, and then hit the road to the Children's Museum.  The girls had a ton of fun learning about dinosaurs, China, and playing!  We had to leave early because of Shay's 1st birthday party (see separate post), but I'm sure we'll be going back because there's so much more to see.

We leave in 1 week for Disney and we found out that Ben, Beth, and Zoe live only about 30 minutes from where we are staying Sunday night/Monday.  We hope to meet up with them and go to dinner and the beach!
