Happy Halloween!!!

Wordless Wednesday will return next week.  This Wednesday is a special day!  :o)

Zuri got all dressed up for school today....

Miss Claudia added a little something to her outfit!

After school, we went to Uncle Jon and Aunt Amanda's for dinner and to trick-or-treat with Jack and Claire.

We got everyone dressed, but I couldn't get a good picture of them all together.

Daddy gave Zuri a Kit-Kat before we left.  You can't tell very well in this picture, but she loved it and had chocolate all over her mouth and hands!

Zuri and Claire got a sucker at the 2nd stop.  They were both very excited to eat the suckers.  Notice the wrappers are still on....

 

I took Zuri's wrapper off so she could eat hers.



We left Aunt Amanda, Jack, and Claire so we could go back inside.  It was cold out!!  We got back to their house and Zuri continued to eat her sucker.

Then she took some candy from the candy bowl.  She may have taken a couple things!

She was zonked.  We were going to try to go to Cassie's house, but Zuri was yawning and closing her eyes on the ride home.  We got inside and she laid her head down on me.  I had to work to get her costume off and we brushed her teeth.  She went to bed in the outfit you see in the first picture (minus the tutu).  I'd say she had a good Halloween!!

Zuri has a boyfriend

We went to visit our friends, Zak and Zoe, who welcomed their 2nd son, Ryder, into this world last week.  Reed is a few months older than Zuri and today was only the 2nd time they had ever met.  First, Ryder is adorable!!  Second, Reed and Zuri were sooooo cute together.  They sat next to each other and watched TV........for a split second.  They sat next to each other at the fireplace...........for a split second.  They played with Reed's toys...........for a split second.  Notice a trend?  What do you expect; they are almost 2!  LOL  One thing that lasted for longer than a split second was Reed chasing Zuri around.  :o)

We decided to go to the Greenwood Community Center's Halloween party tonight.  Here are a couple pictures.



Before we went, Zuri was excited to hear her shoes on the floor.  I think someone might like tap dancing.  :o)

Saturday Fun

Zuri and I had haircuts today.  Here's Zuri before her haircut.

 This is Zuri after........eating pizza before we met Rachelle in Broad Ripple for lunch.

After lunch, Zuri and I hung out at home while Daddy was at his brother's.  Aunt Julie and Uncle Kenny came by to see Zuri.  We met Uncle Jon, Aunt Amanda, Jack, and Claire for dinner.  Daddy held Claire and Zuri was not a fan --- until Daddy picked her up too.  :o)
