Chuck E Cheese

Zuri and I went to Chuck E Cheese with Papaw John, Grandma Andrea, Mason, and Gannon yesterday. We had fun and I was exhausted afterwards!

This is Zuri's favorite game!

She also loves this water gun game. She beat Papaw 3 or 4 times!

Wordless Wednesday

Sweet Zuri

I told Brent before I left work that I wasn't feeling good (normal pregnancy stuff) and would probably eat, shower, and rest. He told Zuri and so when I got home, she told me she made me something to help me feel better while I rest. 

She was so excited to give this to me!  It's a flower. She did it all on her own. No help from Brent at all. Such a big girl!

She has now ordered me to rest and brought me a blanket, stuffed animals, and balloons. :o)

She's so sweet!

Super Bowl Sunday

We started the day off with filling out Valentine's for school. We told Zuri she was like a celebrity signing autographs. She even told Eric and Karen after church that she did autographs before church. Ha!

We went to the annual Vandivier Super Bowl Party. This was Zuri's first time going. Zuri enjoyed playing with Lila, Alana, Maddie, and the other kids as well.

Don't worry, the girls didn't get into anything they weren't supposed to. They just wanted a quiet place to play house.

On the way home, we had this conversation....

Zuri: Do we know anyone else named Madeline?

Me: Trevor's girlfriend is Madeline. 

Zuri: Besides her?

Me: Not that we know.

Brent: There was a sitcom in the 80s with a Madeline. 

Zuri: Is that a TV show?

Brent: Yes.

Zuri: Then I don't care. I'm only asking about people in this world. 

Oh my....

Selfie Saturday

We started the day with a trip to Target. We had to start the trip at Starbucks, of course!

I let Zuri try my decaf skinny cinnamon dolce latte. She wasn't impressed. 

We then went to Castleton with Papaw to get William a dresser. On the way, Zuri had to show off her "maternity" pants. Haha!  They are really yoga pants and should be rolled down. :o)

After lunch, it was time to get ready for Sophia's birthday party.  Zuri chose her Elsa dress to wear.

Typical Monday (??)

Today started out typical. I took the daily picture of Zuri and she took the weekly baby bump picture of me.  She knows what Mondays mean (bump pic)! :o)

Not so typical is what happened after I took Zuri to school. I registered her for Kindergarten at Greenwood Christian School!  How is it that she will be in Kindergarten this year?!

After school and work, Papaw John came by (becoming a typical Monday for us!). He rode his motorcycle and before leaving, Zuri wanted to try on his helmet. 

Before bath and bed, Uncle Jon and Claire sent us a silly selfie (not typical).  Brent and Zuri responded with their own silly selfie.
