I have a feeling some people will get the wrong impression from the title of this post.  ;) hahaha!!!  

Dog Custody Battle

Yesterday, we had family pictures at AppleWorks. It was very cold, but fun. Yvonne posted a teaser on FaceBook and I can't wait to see the rest!!  Here's one I took while Yvonne was shooting.

Also, Zuri got to see Bree again down at Gary's. She also saw Skittles!  Zuri kept telling everybody that Skittles was her and Gary's dog.  Gary has sole custody and Zuri has visitation rights. ;)

Today, Zuri hung out with Eric, Karen, and Trevor while Mommy and Daddy went grocery shopping. Later on, Grandpa and Grandma Schulz came over. Dinner was interesting. Zuri fell asleep on the way there and slept during most of dinner (on me). When she woke up, she was not a happy camper. She finally calmed down and we left. Grandma and I went to Target while Grandpa and Daddy took Zuri home.  Zuri isn't spoiled at all.  She only got 2 pairs of jeans, 3 shirts, a nightgown, and Dora pjs. Zuri wanted to wear the Dora pjs tonight. :)

Halloween!!!

I know it's not Halloween yet, but we went to the Greenwood Community Center's Annual Halloween party tonight. Bree joined us and we met up with Grandma Newbold and Aunt Brandii (and others). Here are some pictures!

Bree is Back!!

We started the morning off with breakfast at Hotcake Emporium. After some cleaning and a nap, we went to Tony's for a cookout and to see Bree. Zuri missed Bree like crazy!  Here are some pictures.

Pumpkin Carving/Decorating

We stopped at CVS after dinner to get candy corn (Zuri's latest treat for going #2 on the potty). We ended up with a pumpkin too!  Zuri was excited about the pumpkin so we decided to carve and decorate it tonight. Zuri loves decorating, but when it came time to remove the stuff  inside, she wasn't having any of it. :) Here are some pictures. 

Skittles: Part II

We visited Uncle Gary and Skittles again yesterday with Aunt Julie. Skittles kept running from Zuri. Hahaha!  

We went to DQ after leaving. Zuri ended up taking my blizzard so I started eating her cone. Zuri asked me, "Mommy, why are you eating my ice cream?"  Well, Zuri, you stole mine so I stole yours!  lol

Skittles

As most of you know, my aunt passed away last week after battling an infection.  Monday, after the burial, we went to my uncle's house.  Brent and Zuri came down and Zuri instantly fell in love with my uncle's dog, Skittles.  Zuri woke up Tuesday morning saying, "I want to go see Skittles." and then threw a fit when I said we had to go to school.  I decided to take dinner to my uncle last night and Zuri was super excited to see Skittles Uncle Gary.  We got there around 5 and played outside for about an hour with Skittles.  Skittles tried running back to the house a few times.  HA!  A little after 6, we all went inside to eat.  We sat in the kitchen and Zuri got to feed Skittles some bread and bologna.  She was very excited about that.  When we left, Zuri wanted to give Skittles a hug bye, but Skittles kept running from her.  Imagine that....  Uncle Gary picked up Skittles so Zuri could give her a hug.  I tried getting Zuri to give Uncle Gary a hug, but she wouldn't.  She did give him a high five though.  Baby steps...  LOL

Alabama

Aunt Tina and Uncle Ed are up from Alabama (for Aunt Loretta's funeral). Zuri had fun on Saturday with them. Ed counted Zuri's ribs, making her laugh like crazy!  Tina did her makeup (Lord help us!!). :)

This morning, Zuri helped with pancakes again.
