New Kicks

Yesterday, Miss Sherri asked us if we had shoes for Zuri to wear while they play outside.  Well, hmmm, we have had about 4 or 5 pairs of shoes and all of them are too small now.  We decided to take Zuri to Stride Rite tonight to find out what size and get her some shoes.  She is a 4 1/2 wide (poor girl has mommy's wide feet).  We bought her a size 5 so she can actually keep them a little longer than a week!

Z's BFF, Alana, is 1!!

Today was Alana's 1st birthday party. Zuri was very excited about it. Not only because her BFF is now 1, but also because she knew that meant some sweets!!  She would not stop going towards the treats table.  Not good!!!  LOL

Here are some pictures from today.

Mmmmmm, yummy.

Mommy, did you really think I wouldn't just walk around here to get the controller?

Such a big girl!

It took Alana a little bit to warm up to us.  I just love the look on her face!

That's better!  Love her pigtails!!

Someone needs a bath!

Zuri loves Ray
We caught daddy napping.

Worn out from the party.
After the birthday party, we went to Eric and Karen's.  I am a bad mommy and didn't get any pictures while we were there.  Once the cupcakes were brought out, Zuri was all about them.  She would go to anyone that would take her near them!!!

I came home to a CD of Zuri's 1st birthday pictures!!!  It's hard to choose a select few to share so I created some collages to help.  Enjoy!

Ice Cream

Yesterday, daddy was gone for a few hours and just before her bath, Zuri decided she would try to open the door and look for him.  Yes, those are wings on the back of her shirt.  The front says "Fairy Cute".  We love Gymboree!
Okay, I know you turn this thing to open it.  What's the problem?

After dinner tonight, we took Zuri to Dairy Queen.  You can't tell it from these pictures, but she really did enjoy it.  She was only allowed a small amount of it though!!  :)
This stuff is cold!!!!!!!
But oh so good!
