Snow Day

Today was our first measurable snow of the season. Zuri was super excited about it!  She wanted to make a snowman, but it was too cold. We played inside until it was time for lunch with Grandma and Grandpa Schulz. Zuri was very fashionable for lunch...

Zuri was being extra silly at lunch. She put on some "lips."  Haha!

We stopped at Starbucks after lunch for a cake pop for Zuri. 

Zuri had asked to go to Chuck E Cheese this morning. She never asks and since it was so cold out, we decided to take her. Tony and Breeanna joined us.

This was like the Price is Right - spin the wheel. Zuri loved it!

She hit for the jackpot - 125 tickets!!

Zuri beat all of us in the water gun race. Tony was not happy. Ha!!

After Chuck E Cheese, we went to dinner. Zuri had my phone for a bit. I found this selfie. :o)

When we got home, Zuri played school. She used her new Frozen hat to match her Frozen backpack.

Zuri helped me fold her clothes this morning and did a pretty good job!

It took some time, but Zuri finally started playing at Justice's birthday party.  She played hide and seek with Mason and Gannon for at least 20 minutes (or so it seemed). 

I was able to get a picture of the big kids with the birthday girl. :o)

After dinner, I walked into the living room to this. 

She told me she was pregnant and had to go for an ultrasound to find out if it's a boy or girl. Daddy had to drive her because the doctor said she couldn't since she's pregnant. Ha!  She even has the body positioning down - hands on back of hips and all!!

Then, I hear her tell Brent that it needs to be her turn on the exercise machine because it helps her diabetes. 

This girl cracks me up!!

Papaw Saves The Day

Yesterday, Zuri had asked me why Papaw didn't bring donuts anymore. I told her that I was sure if she asked Papaw, he would bring her some. She asked and he brought some this morning.  He also brought her a chocolate milk AND 2 cake pops from Starbucks. 

She started out with the Bavarian and decided she didn't like the cream so she went for a cinnamon twist. 

Papaw looked at our tub after breakfast. For a long time, anytime I run water for a bath, the faucet leaks like crazy. For that reason, I don't take many baths. Zuri loves taking a bath in my tub because of the jets.  Anyway, after taking a look, Papaw decides he needs a new part or an entirely new faucet to fix it. He leaves and we end up leaving later to look at a house. Papaw came by as we were leaving and he stayed to fix the tub - he bought the part he needed. We got home and he was gone. Zuri and I checked the faucet and it was fixed!!!!  Zuri said, "Papaw sure is handy!"  I couldn't agree more. :o)

Tonight, Zuri said, "What would we do if we couldn't open the garage door?"  Before we could answer, she said, "Call Papaw because he sure is handy."  Haha!

Since the tub was fixed, we took a bubble bath tonight!

Party Day!

Saturday was a party day for Zuri.  Her friend's birthdays party was at 1. She had a blast. It was Shopkins themed. The girls decorated flip flops, painted their nails, played games, ate, opened gifts, and played some more!  Happy birthday, Kinley!

After the birthday party, we had Christmas with Grandma and Grandpa Schulz. Zuri was excited to receive more Christmas gifts...

After everyone left, Zuri drew pictures while I cleaned up. I love when she draws family pictures and William makes the cut. :o)

Goodbye 2015, Hello 2016!

NYE morning...

Brent and I both got off work early so we picked Zuri up and went to lunch. Before lunch though, Brent took Zuri to.....where else.....Starbucks!  She got a cake pop of course!

After lunch, we went home and hung out. Zuri decided to have snack time with her babies. They had popcorn shrimp. :o)

We let Zuri stay up as late as she could. She loved playing and watching the countdown shows.

She lasted until 10pm and then asked to go to bed.  :o)

New Year's Day, we had a busy day. Brent went to the Auto Show. Zuri and I met Papaw for lunch and then went to Target with him and Aunt Julie.

We had dinner with the Hensons on New Year's Day. The girls had a great time!

We had a great 2015 and look forward to an even better 2016 with our newest addition, William!!
