Puffs...

Zuri did really well eating puffs tonight while we were at dinner. This is her face after getting a puff in her mouth and tasting it. LOL

Stats revisited

So I know it's not a huge deal, but I wanted to correct myself on Zuri's stats from her 6 month appointment.  The measurements are right - I just had the percentiles wrong:

weight - 96th
height - 99th
head - 98th

We're almost off the charts!!

Taking care of our teeth and gums

So Dr. McIntire said we need to start brushing Zuri's teeth and gums.  We, I mean she, finally did tonight.  Who said she could grow up so fast?  I don't recall saying she could.

6 month wellness visit

Today was Zuri's 6 month wellness visit.  She is 28 inches long and weighs 19.6 pounds!  She is 96th percentile for weight and 97th for height.  She had 3 shots and did remarkably well.  She cried for a second and then was back to her smiley self.  She really liked the paper on the bed.  Oh, and the doctor gave her a new book - she likes it.

So you can see there wasn't much of a difference before and after.  :) 

Zuri gets to start some table foods now!  The doctor said she can have green beans, peas, mashed potatoes, puffs - pretty much anything that is sort of mushy or will turn mushy with saliva (puffs).  She can also start drinking water from a sippy cup.

I just can't believe how big she is getting.  It's unbelievable!
