College Visit

We met up with Uncle Eric, Aunt Karen, Trevor, and Madeline for lunch down at IU. Zuri was intrigued about college. She kept asking where it was. When we told her the campus was big, she was confused. She wanted us to point out just one building!  After lunch at Bub's, we went back to see Trevor's dorm.  It was a great day for a visit.

Zuri has been practicing writing her baby brother's name.  Other than reminding her that there is an "i" before the "a," Zuri did this all herself!

I hung some pictures tonight and Zuri really wanted her "love" painting to go in William's  room because she loves him. How could I say no?!

100th Day of School

Today was Zuri's 100th day of school. They had lots of fun activities and snacks planned.

The teachers made shirts for all the kids too. So cute!

Oh, and Papaw brought her 2 cake pops from Starbucks tonight. Probably to celebrate the 100th day?!  More likely because she is spoiled!!!

Baby Sprinkle

Today was my Baby Sprinkle. Zuri was so excited!  She wanted to get her hair curled today after my haircut just for it!

Funday Friday

Zuri had a fun filled Friday!  After school, she got to hang out with Aunt Karen while Daddy got his haircut. Then, we went to dinner to celebrate Aunt Julie's birthday. After that, we went to Kohl's. Zuri picked out some stuff for her baby brother as well as for herself. :o) She's really excited for tomorrow - my Baby Sprinkle!  She told me she will help me open the gifts and she doesn't care that the gifts aren't for her because she just likes unwrapping gifts. Ha!

Wordless Wednesday

There's More Than One Way...

...to eat a pork chop. Zuri ate her first pork chop in record time. She asked for seconds and asked us not to cut it up. Here's what happened next.

Before dance Thursday, Zuri and I went to Babies R Us so I could return something. She insisted on picking out pajamas for her baby brother. :o)

I received this picture from Zuri's teacher Friday. Her class started computer lab time this semester.

Today was a fairly lazy day - until Kids' Night Out at her dance studio. 

Zuri has had this locket for a while now. We finally put pictures in this morning. Zuri picked the pictures (her baby brother and then our Christmas tree).

Zuri was taking pictures with her phone. I looked at them and found this selfie. Ha!

I napped off and on most of today. At one point, I looked over and saw this. Soooo sweet. 

I mentioned before that Zuri had a Kids' Night Out tonight. Zuri was excited!  

While she was there, Brent and I went to dinner and then grocery shopped. Zuri wasn't ready to leave when we picked her up (she never is!).

We are home and she's in bed now. She's excited to go to church tomorrow. She's been asking about God and Jesus lately so we promised her we would go to church so she can learn more.
