Candles, Candles, Candles!!!

Zuri is selling candles for dance. She asked our family to order at our reunion yesterday. :) Papaw came by for breakfast today. We got his belly full and then Zuri asked him to order candles. She gave suggestions too!

Homework

Zuri and I love doing homework together.....while watching Nick Jr.  Tonight, it's Dora the Explorer, followed by Bubble Guppies!

Fireworks, Friends, and Family

Friday night, we went to the Indians game. We didn't get there til about 9, but we really just wanted to see fireworks anyway. :) Zuri liked the misting station. 

We found the Johnson family and here are the kiddos (Zuri, Hayden, Halle) watching the fireworks. 

Saturday, Zuri went with Mommy and Julie to visit JoAnne and take her the Kindle Fire. Christine and Alex were there (Greg came later). Alex and Zuri took turns pushing the other in the wheelchair. :)

Zuri was up for 12hrs straight on Saturday. I'm not sure she has ever done that. She was being super silly Saturday night. 

Today, we took Papaw John to breakfast and when we got back, Zuri found a new friend. She tried bring him inside. I had to tell her the ant is an outdoor pet. ;)

Zuri spent time with Eric, Karen, and Trevor while we went to the grocery store. Zuri loves Trevor. 

She made all sorts of faces for us. Ha!!!

Zuri finally received her very own bedding!  She has a queen size bed so it's been difficult finding one that is good for kids. :)

Sushi Anyone?!

Zuri spent the night with Breeanne Saturday. When we dropped her off, Baby Asher was there. Zuri was so excited to hold him!

After we picked Zuri up, we all (Tony, Anthony, and Bree) went to Kabutos for lunch.  Zuri wanted some of Daddy's sushi. She really liked it!

Fun Family Weekend

Friday night, Zuri surprised me by writing her name and "mom" all by herself!  I can't believe how fast she's growing up!

We visited Eric, Karen and Trevor Friday night. I have 25 selfies on my phone from these two. :)

Saturday, we had lunch with Papaw, Tony, Tina, Julie, Kenny, and David. 

We missed Franco!!

After lunch, we went to Gary's where Zuri  opened her salon and gave haircuts. The men were all troopers!

Oh, Zuri also loved picking tomatoes and cucumbers from Gary's garden. :)

After Gary's, we went to Jack's birthday party. We had a great time!

Today, Papaw brought us donuts!

Zuri thanked him by squeezing his cheeks. :)

Grandpa and Grandma Schulz came by and brought Zuri 2 reversible capes made by Grandma!  Zuri LOVES them!!

We hung out with Eric, Karen, and Trevor again tonight.

Dance Fever

Zuri insisted Daddy dance with her tonight. She had to tell him several times how to do the dance. He finally figured it out. ;o)

MIA

I realize the blog has been neglected somewhat.  There's not much to say about this weekend. I stayed in bed all weekend. I thought it was shingles again, but now think I caught whatever Zuri had earlier in the week. Papaw John came and watched Zuri Friday night so Daddy could still go to his work function (I hated missing, but he actually won't stuff this year...prob for the best I missed!) Aunt Junie took Zuri for her haircut Saturday while Daddy worked.
